POLL: Should the Minimum Wage be automatically adjusted for INFLATION?

When we "fix" the federal minimum wage, should there be a built-in inflation adjustment mechanism?

When the federal MW was set to $7.25 - which happened in 2007 or 2009, depending on who you listen to - there was no built-in process for cost of living or inflation adjustments.

Should there be such an adjustment?
 
There's another poll on when it would be appropriate to phase in an increase of the minimum wage to $15.

At first glance, makes sense to me. I think if you could effectively incorporate cost of living and inflation you'd be damned close.

Obviously an algorithmic measure that is congruent with temporal and spatial economic reality is ideal.

I'm completely in favor of more dynamic, algorithmic policy when at all possible.
