This one will be hard because there were A LOT of GREAT shows in the 70s!

Golden Age of TV - MASH, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, Barney Miller, Sanford and Son, Taxi, Happy Days, All in the Family, Laverne and Sirley, Welcome Back Kotter, Soap, the Odd Couple, WKRP, the Jefferson, Rockford Files, (not a sitcom, but the Carol Burnette show was classic)

What was absolutely insane was CBS's Saturday night lineup. Right in a row starting about 7:00 CST - All in the Family, MASH, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, then Carol Burnett.

I was born in 1977. Images from the 70s, almost without exception, look dated and cringy to me, not in a pleasant way. 1960s images can look cool, romantic, classic—not 1970s. It’s like the difference between old and antique. I am hard wired to not like 70s visual content.
