Population of Quad Cities

Has anyone visited Niabi Zoo in the last 5 years?
Supposedly they had some financial problems
which led to cutting exhibits. It could be a big
plus for family entertainment.

I guess it’s turned around pretty nicely. They just got a pair of new rhinos I guess.

Of course, once the Bison Bridge is here, it’s gonna be hard to wow people with a couple rhinos.

I always thought Niabi should organize hunting safaris to differentiate it from other zoos.

I’d never been in Rock Island until a few years ago when my son’s BB team played some scrimmages at RIHS.

I was shocked at the aged building and facilities they have and that area of town wasn’t ghetto necessarily but it was certainly rough around the edges and it all seemed very run down, vacant and sad.

That town needs a serious infusion of economic development because as things are now, there’s little hope that things will ever get better again.

When you are in the QC, watch out for Fred Garvin. He may try to seduce your girl friend.
