I was told by someone at Edinboro that Pat Lugo(149) is planning to transfer and Iowa is his first choice. Also considering PSU. He beat Sorenson this year in dual meet. Seems like that weight is a little crowded at Iowa.

But if he has to sit out a year and can stay at 149, he'd slot right in with BS graduating. Would be a nice add.

That would be a very welcome addition, he could redshirt for Sorensens SR year. Wrestle in 2019 his JR year, while hopefully Sasso redshirts, then he and Sasso compete for 149 his SR year and Sasso's RSFR year, may the best man win.

I think he could improve even more in Iowa's room working out with Sorensen, Kemerer and all of the other talent in the 149-165 range. And he's already pretty dang good. Finished R12 as a true FR, and fell off a little at NCAAs this past march, but sometimes these things happen.

Iowa did, Metcalf-Morningstar-Perry! Two of them are still there, but I doubt they'd have the same results.

We had a dry spell after that. Sorenson is our first servicable 49 since Brent. & Ive all but forgotten the Rhoades & Kelly years.

Not from a big ten team so would not have to sit, but does have a red shirt year to use so would work out great. Move in after BS graduates.

It makes sense to fill in after Brandon, but may hurt our recruiting of Sasso. Interesting dilemma if he's really interested. I think I'd prefer to get Sasso, but obviously that's not a guarantee anyway.

Penn State has the same logic, but there's an even bigger problem since their next man up, Berge, is already on board.

His family was sitting about 10 rows behind us at the dual last year. As expected they erupted at every take down (and at the time it seemed like he took BS down 1000 times) and when he won. He's a good wrestler who travels with a large contingent of family support, there must have been 15 family members there.

How credible is this source? I don't want to get my hopes up, but he could fill a hole at 49 after BS as many of you have said

The post about Sasso=Moisey, although I do not agree or approve of it, is saying that they both like to party.
