I’ve been watching nothing but psychological thrillers for the last few months and this recent flick was pretty good, there are a few silly moments but the plot is entertaining.
If you're talking about the movie with Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neal, my parents took me to see it in the theater.
I watched that, Above the law and this a thousand times from 8th grade to college.
Absolutely love Let It Ride. I've always speculated that it should have been called Hot to Trot, but wasn't because another movie starting Bobcat Goldthwait that came out a few months prior already had the name.
Great pull.
This is a super obscure movie that deserves to be right up there with the best baseball movies of all time. I think it's better than Bull Durham.
It's unfortunately almost impossible to come by...not streaming anywhere, not available on disc last time I checked. That shitty Youtube upload is probably the only way to see it.
Someday it will be released properly and rediscovered.

It's hard to watch this and understand how Robert Townsend didn't become a major creative force in Hollywood. This movie is genius.

I found this interesting that NBC bought Morris’s film and is shelving it until after the elections. It’s almost as if they want Trump back in office. It’s probably great for their news ratings.
