Land on the 6 line, get Tennesee as our 3 seed. Never going to not root for us to win, but Im a little wary that a strong BTT will push us to the dreaded 5 line.

Agree, Hawks should prefer the 6/7 lines as opposed to the 4/5 lines for sure.
This makes no sense to me.
If we manage to get to the Sweet 16, I'd prefer to avoid a #1 seed in the next round. Much rather face a #2 or #3 to get to the Elite 8. Either way, it won't be easy.
Amazing how many seeding/easiest road experts there are here among fans of a team that hasn't sniffed the Sweet 16 in 23 years...
It's true that #6/7 seeds have a higher winning % in Sweet 16 games than #4/5 seeds, but you gotta get there first.

Iowa ain’t losing to an 11 or 12 seed. The team is playing too well and none of the mid majors who get either of those seeds will have an answer for Iowa’s offensive attack

Is there still a play in game of eleven seeds? That would be a tough situation but maybe they got rid of that scenario.
I did forget about that… always the chance of running into a red hot P5 team like UCLA last year, though I’d think that that team was an anomaly
