USA off to a BIG lead, 5-0 after Thursday…However,Day #2 (today) is a new day for the Internationals….US is getting rik-rolled early, down in 4 of the 5 matches…lots of golf to play yet. Internationals making a lot of putts…USA is putting like me.

Tom Kim made a putt and went crazy. Scottie followed up with his own and screamed, "What was that?" I thought it was all in good fun but a hole or two later, Kim and his partner (Matsuyama?) walked to the next tee box when they finished while the US was still getting ready to putt. Sounded like assistant captain Kisner had some words with an assistant for the international.
Good to see Jim Furyk didn’t forget his longtime caddie Fluff Cowan.. Fluff is Furyk’s official “driver” during the President’s Cup… Dluff is recovering from a recent hip replacement and looks good for being 76 or so….
Fluff’s claim to fame…..he attended college and pkayed golf at Wm. Penn (Oskaloosa) back in the 60’s… and might have won or been runner-up as medalist in the Iowa Conference tournament….he was a (and is) a solid player to this day. Good to see Fluff out and about.
