Pryce Sandfort Highlights & Updates. Iowa's Mr. Basketball

I figured it was creepy if I said I was always looking at the size of young men’s hands so I referenced a smaller ball. This appears almost volley ball size for him.

I was at the game a City HIgh today. Pryce had a great first half, but he was shooting wide open shots. when he had to create his own shot and fight through double teams, he was totally shut down the second half. Most of his points were free throws when City was intentionally fouling.

The big kid from City is going to be really special. Only a 9th grader and getting better every game. His footwork was good and he has great soft hands. With some experience he will be special.

What the back ground on this 6’10” kid. How long has he lived in Iowa City
I think he just moved there last summer from Louisville. I didn’t catch the whole story but I get the feeling he will be looking for a blue blood program. I wouldn’t get too excited.

Fran or anybody. Don’t want to hijack this thread and don’t want to start a thread but have a quick question Fran, can you give us update on Ladji Dembele on how his season is going and does he rank in his own state ? We all been hearing about all our recruits except for this kid unless I missed it somewhere.

The Governors Challenge was held Dec 26-30. It is the largest holiday high school basketball tournament in the country & is sponsored by Under Armour.

Ladji was a stand out.
