Wait, Sebreicht top 10? No, he was not in the top 100 in 2019. Kennedy was #5 in 2020. If they both knocked off NCAA semi-finalists it would be pretty big news.

Facundo has now beaten Amine 2 out of 3 since highschool. Freshman Facundo beat Junior Amine at state. Yes both PSU guys were top 10. 125 is the only guy in their lineup that didn't join the room with elite talent.
I got to see the match last night and PSU looked pretty good. Kerk losing a close one was the only disappointment for me and my friend .
He’s more knowledgeable than I am and thought three matches would be toss ups, PSU won three. And 1 vs 2 ending up 3-1 with the number 2 guy winning is something that’s obviously possible .
From the way I see it I’m guess PSU, Iowa, and Michigan are in the semis with luck two for the finals .

I get the sentiment because they are all tough wrestlers physically and mentally but does that equate to the ability to coach and develop? I’ve see the criticism leveled against Sanderson that he gets the best recruits.
I’d counter that with the record his wrestlers at PSU in the ncaa semifinals and finals have.
To be fair I’ve heard the Gable would get the best recruits also. And Gable and Sanderson were two of the best ever, so maybe I have no clue lol.

Dude. We all have to stop saying this. It's not stalling. And you can blame Mark Branch and the rest of that clown azz rules committee for changing the rule that you only have to aggressively attempt to break the guy down. So those little karate chops after they hook the ankle? They count.
NCAA wrestling really does need to get out of its own way and stop letting coaches make decisions regarding the sport as a whole.
