He's really good. Out of Beau, VNess, Facundo and Haines I like Haines the best. He has such a diverse set of attacks and turns. BIG prediction time, 3x NCAA Champ!
Terrible. Haines was guilty of Fleeing the mat last week, it should have been a point. Brooks at minimum deserved a warning. He backed straight from the center off the mat.
Each year in October, all the refs get together to vote on whether this will be the year they start calling stalling on Penn State wrestlers. The vote was a little closer this year than the year before, but it was still voted down again.

You really think it's possible to have Taylor/Ruth or Nolf/Nickal/Retherford type team EVERY year? What an indictment it will be against the rest of the NCAA field with PSUs most boring team still dominating at NCAAs this year.
Close wins often times lead to close losses. I think PSU’s Friday record might take a hit or two this year.

Don't agree. Every match of the PS/OS was hardly boring. Lots of attacks, scoring, pins, majors, etc for both sides. Both teams came to wrestle... anything but boring.. Objectively. team with 4 NCAA Champs and a possible 9 AAs is hardly boring. If posting that somehow makes you feel better , fine. Its just not accurate.

I’ll take the under on that. Rby, Starfish and Brooks could win would not be shocked to see 2 of the 3 lose. Brooks probably have Coleman in the semis and could easily lose again there. Rby could easily lose to fix. Starfish will be hard to beat not much of a threat at 174 for him. Dean and Kerk could win it but Dean got a little lucky last year and will have to get by Elam and a few other fortunately for him Beard should be on the other side. Kerk has to beat Cass and Parris again. 125,149,157 and 165 are going to have to peak at the right time to AA as well. Not sold on Haines this year just yet. 165 might be the Hardest weight out there for Facundo and Van Ness seems like a rd of 12 to me. Yes they probably win it again but I honestly think it will be closer than some think.
Hawks will out place them at 125,141,149 and 165. I am pretty sure Spencer and Woods win it and we out place you at the other weights. Seibrect,Nelson and Assad need to find their way onto the stand to go with the rest of the guys. Warner looks burnt out a little bit even worse than in years past but I still have faith in him to turn it on like he always does. Carl and his team still out place us at 133,174,184 and 197 for sure but hwt is still debatable. So it could be closer than some think. Psu is still probably the best team but definitely not the powerhouse like in years past.
This is also a relatively young PSU team. Of 10 starters 4 are freshman and a total of 8 can return next year. Only RBY and Dean are in their last year.
Ohio st looked terrible, F*** st not too much better. It is very clear that something is "off' with the officiating? You can not watch F*** st with any honesty without clearly seeing the darn REFs are favoring them and calling the matches in a basis manner!
They stall on top till the cows come home. many times there is not even an attempt to doing anything buy hold on. They play the edge when ever they need to, this maybe when on top, where they push people out. They also play the grab the leg rule, wait for a 4 count, then let go, then grab it again.
If this trend continues, you keep setting the sport back!
