I recognize you can't read too much into 3-5 minute interview clips, but I think its evident that Fran recruits QUALITY kids. All of them articulate, respectful, and confident without being arrogant. Looking back you could say the same thing about all of his classes. Fran could have tried to take short-cuts to resurrect this program. He didn't do that, and as a result, the program is positioned for LONG-TERM success. We (and Gary Barta) are very lucky he's at the helm.
