Hate the Pac10 so loving this. On the other hand, not feeling too hot about Iowa's chances in West Lafayette next year.
What was all that hype about Khalil Tate? Looks very ordinary to me, like a slower and smaller J.T. Barrett who can't throw the ball at all. I guess playing against Pac10 defenses makes subpar players like that look good.
Except the same coaching staff ran it last year for Western Kentucky and it worked in their bowl game.
Tate is is pretty good I watched him play several times this year. With that said there isn't anybody in the PAC 12 that plays defense like the 8 best defenses in the Big Ten. Purdue is pretty good and it's because of their defense that they improved this year, not the offense.
Good to see their receiver beat a defense other then ours.
Awful (Great) to see our hated rivals (fellow B10 team of which I don't have any hard feelings really) win this bowl game. Brohm is going to be a good one, hopefully not too good before someone poaches him from the Boilers. Anybody that played QB in the XFL is cool with me!
I only watched part of the game, but 2 of the TDs I saw were guys standing alone in the endzone....

That's about as lucky as you can be. Last 3 plays:
- easy interception goes right through the defenders hands.
- bad snap goes 10 yards past the QB, somehow managed to save the play
- defender in excellent position on a jump ball, receiver makes a great catch
Still, good game and nice win

Arizona's defense was pitiful, too. I understand why the B12 and Pac12 have such high-scoring games. You're right, defenses suck in the PAC12.
He does suck. Well, he doesn't suck, but he's vastly overrated. Purdue chose to bottle him up so he couldn't run the ball and that made him one-dimensional. He did okay passing (except for the costly picks, ahem), but we're talking about a 6-6 Purdue team. Not impressed given the hype surrounding him. That was the first time I saw him and I was expecting Deshaun Watson or Lamar Jackson. Even J.T. Barrett, at least. He's nowhere near that good. Not even close.
When Purdue took the lead at the end and Arizona got the ball back, I noticed something in Tate’s eyes that said he was scared and not ready to make a comeback. There was no confidence there at all.

LOL... this is an example of why it is still entertaining to come in here. Some of you guys, even several are super witty and funny. And I've noticed since I've allowed myself to be a little more open-minded and put away my own presuppositions many of you guys aren't really all that critical you're just frustrated like me and confused about our inconsistencies.
