I hate Illannoy, but they usually play a better nonconference schedule than Iowa.
PSU handling PU so far up 31-20 w 2 minutes left in 1st half.
First look at PSU...they got some nice players.
Again, if PU is class of BIG, league is mediocre.
I fear the league is chock full of average teams that are just good enough to beat Hawkeyes.

Having watched bits of games from about every team now, methinks whoever wins the B1G will have earned it this season. (gotta say, if Oregon ends up winning the league in MBB too {first season in B1G} ........ grrr, duck me!)
Despite the Ducks being undefeated so far, there doesn't seem to one squad that really stands out above all the others, but there's a bunch of pretty good ones.

Seems like a lot of teams in the 20-50 NET range, and the teams that stay healthy and put it together as a team will be nearer 20-30.

No doubt. NW is pesky but those three Illini euros are good.
Martinelli went nuts in 2nd half.
I only saw the second half and OT. The Euros are really good. Illini seem to lack a PG who distributes and make the offense go. The Euros are better on offense than defense, but impressive talent.
Underwood completely out coached in that game. Humrichous got cooked by every Northwestern player he tried to guard yet Underwood kept him in and sat Morez who is an absolute monster on the glass. Gave up a 10 point lead when he sat Morez. Dumb.
Dude is overrated, imo. Collins, however, is a really good coach.
Spread between #1 and #15 in the league isn't massive.
Lots of decent to good teams. No great ones.
Should make for a competitive conference season.

The big white stiff on Illinois was absolutely useless down the stretch.
Great ballgame and atmosphere. SEC is crazy good. No idea who the best team in the Big Ten is. We’ll be lucky to have 1-2 sweet 16 teams.

We seem to have NO plan or ability to manufacture points late to answer an opponents score via a drive and /or FTs.
This is the Achilles heel on this team.
