I did a deep dive into the QBR ratings and win totals, and it came back with some interesting findings. We either do really well navigating average QB's, or we have really good Defenses/Special Team units to aid in that masking of the "average Iowa QB'. The QBR data goes back to 2004 from what I have been able to compile.
Below is the Iowa QBR's for that time frame. Green = 1st year; Blue = 2nd Year; Pink = 3rd Year; Black indicates the average B1G QB since 2004.

- Over 80 QBR = 10.95 avg | Iowa (none)
- 70 - 79 QBR = 8.19 avg | Iowa 7.60
- 60 - 69 QBR = 7.43 avg | Iowa 10.00
- 50 - 59 QBR = 6.39 avg | Iowa 8.00
- 40 - 49 QBR = 6.12 avg | Iowa 6.00
