What do the two black bars in the middle of the mat mean? I notice that they are also on my new Hawk wrestling shirt. Thanks. Go Hawks!!!

Pic? I don't see what you're talking about. You're not talking about the starting lines, right?
I think he is.
But as youngun mentioned, the starting lines are white. And I think I've seen Mike posting here for years, so I'm guessing he's familiar with wrestling.
On my shirt is an outer circle (black) with an inner circle (black) with a single bar in the middle of the inner circle. When I'm watching duals I see that same gold bar in the middle of the mat. Go Hawks!!!Guess he could be a little ......................."snowblind"

Wow, lol, virtual simultaneous posting of the same pic.

But mine is slightly higher quality because I bothered to take the time to caption it. I say it's a tie.Yes.......but you came in second so............
you owe GG & Wrestlingfor Life $100.
YES!!! So what are the lines in the middle of the black ring. What are their purpose. Thanks. Go Hawks!!!Are these the two bars you're talking about?

Wow!!! Now that is way more technical when I wrestled way back when. Thanks for that information. I wonder how many times that rule is violated. Go Hawks!!!The lines that connect the width of the two white lines, are red and green, signifying where the home and away wrestler is supposed to stand at the start of the whistle. The white lines are just how far away from eachother they have to start.
and Derp means what Spooner? Love to wrestle you on a mat anytime soon. Why don't we exchange pictures of our bodies ... shape and muscle wise.Derp.
I knew I would be in trouble around here as soon as I posted this thread. I can handle the feedback. We just never had those lines in the middle of the mat when I wrestled in Iowa way back when. Have not been to a Iowa wrestling event since the Big 10s at the University of Michigan, after Iowa lost in the first round at the United Center. Only plane that beat the storm in Chicago to Detroit that morning. The Hawks did not do well there either. Go Hawks!!!Mikes just fakin around lol

Come on Spooner ... just once. LOL!!! Heck, comparing a body with a 70 year old should be easy. However, I do work out SERIOUSLY three times a week at the athletic club. But still, I am an old man in the real world. Go Hawks!!!Not doing this with anyone on the board.
I believe that is Brooks vs McIntosh, when Brooks bumped up to face him, and Burak was still recovering from injury until the Midlands.---
Burak v McIntosh? (or Metcalf v Molinaro?)
We already have the recon that you can't hit any moves anymore and have had to rely on blows for years now. And you were just 69 two weeks ago. Belated happy birthday, I suppose. No need to send pictures. Thanks. As in many, many thanks.Come on Spooner ... just once. LOL!!! Heck, comparing a body with a 70 year old should be easy.
