Am I losing it or did Patrick Duggan transfer to the Hawks? I thought I read that, but now I can't remember. If memory serves, the Hawks were recruiting him out of PA, but went with Kemmerer. Is Duggan a 141, 149 or bigger? I know that his bro Francis ( I assume they are related) is visiting this weekend. We already have Cas as well as a quality back-up in Costello, how likely is it that we land Big Dugg? He's talented and athletic, but I don't think he's quite as Cass's level.

Both Pat and his brother are living here now. Pat transferred and Francis is going to IC West his senior year.

Thanks Chief, I read that somewhere (Todd Connor?). Am I correct when I say that Cass is a step above Dugg? Is it worthwhile to go all in on two top 10 big men? From where I'm sitting weight wise, Hidlay is the top get if Sasso is off the table. Hidlay, the Bull and Kaleb Young would be great for each other in the room.

Cass is, plus he is a true HWY. Duggan is coming here for little to no money. Same with his bro. He will end up having in state. Think Pat regretted not coming here.

Cassioppi is a 285 and Duggan should be a 197 in college so they are not the same weight. That said, I don't think it would matter anyway because like chief said, Francis is not going to command a lot of money at one of the very top schools.

Hmmmm. I watched a video of him getting dominated by Keegan Moore out of Minnesota. The announcer said that Duggan plans to wrestle 220 his senior year and then Hwt in college. He looks pretty big to make 197. Also, better chance at beating Cass than JWar I would think. Definitely a big athletic kid though. If he's in the room just for the love of the Hawks, that's a huge get. Stealing a good one from some other room.

I don't think he would have any problem at all making 197. He's big into playing football as well, sometimes that clouds what the kids think.

Notice I said "should," but that's just me. I've seen him in person close-up and he looks like he could be a 197 in college no problem. But then again I've seen smaller heavies. That weight can be an either or type of thing in college as we have well seen. Just have to make up your mind and head either way, unless you are 5'9".

I don't think he's playing football this year, might be good for him to move down in weight.

I enjoy that a couple of things that drastically differ from what you say have been widely and directly reported but in your mind, you know better.

Anyway, for the OP, Patrick Duggan is not a high D1 talent. And his brother, if he actually comes, isn't going to beat out Cass.
