56 cents currently, going up to 58 cents soon. That is to every address in the US, including HI and AL.
What a bargain.
Packages are the same price to every address as well. No fuel or residential surcharge tacked on like UPS does. What a bargain. Thanks USPS!
Oops, I was a dime off. When buying stamps, I just pay what they say.

A lot more than an email. FWIW, our business receives about 1/10 of the regular mail that we did 15 years ago, having switched so much of the correspondence to electronic.

If you address an email to the wrong email address what happens to it? Does someone see the mistake and reroute it to the correct address? NOPE.

You can address an envelope to the wrong address and normally the mail person will catch the mistake and get it to the right address despite the fact the sender misaddressed it.

You can "read receipt" them, almost never have a problem.

I'm not old enough to require soft foods and metamucil daily so no, I have no idea how much a stamp costs.

FTR, there were years in my life where I did a ton of mailing, but I don’t think there was ever a day when I could have told you how much a stamp costs. I would just buy a couple books and pay them what they asked.

I don't mail too much anymore. But the forever stamps have saved me money over the years.

I do all my bill payingonline now, and I don't send cards (a fools game). So I am guessing I'll spend less than $50 the rest of my life on stamps.

Kind of like when someone asks me for my fax number. I have to try hard not to laugh at such a stupid question.

Fax machines are still alive and well in healthcare. Pagers too in some places. We love keeping old technology alive.

I should because my wife still sends out Christmas cards. I keep telling her to get their e-mail address.
If someone sent me a Christmas Card via email I would trash it and block their e-mail.

Receiving a handwritten letter or card in the mail is such a personal touch and is appreciated and cherished.

I will always continue to send Christmas greetings by mail just as I will always send sympathy cards and graduation cards and birthday cards thru the mail.
