Raising canes is trash

First, Five Guys, like most places, has several other things in the menu. Hot dogs, milk shakes, BLT’s, etc.

Second, chicken strips are a fringe menu item. To sell a fringe menu item, one favored by children, as your primary thing would be inexplicable. To sell it as your only item is bizarre.

It’s like an old SNL skit that took place in a dying mall. The only store doing well was “The Scotch Boutique” that only sold scotch tape. The humor was in the weirdness of it.
You seem pretty butthurt that a company can do as well as it does just making fries and chicken strips. Seems like a pretty start business plan if you ask me. They only have to make a couple of things and seem to do very well financially. I’ve only been there a handful of times but kudos to them.
Let’s hope no other company ever specializes in one area and is successful.

That’s an odd take on my confusion. But you are an odd little man.

I don't see the value in going to 5 Guys when you can pretty much do the same at Cookout. Let's not get snooty over fvcking chicken strips people, especially fast food. You want great strips? Go somewhere and sit down.

I also don’t feel inclined to go to Five Guys. But I did check it out once and the food was tasty. So, no, I’m not a fan of fast food in general, but I at least understand the appeal for most places.

I’m a big fan of strips and fries, great as a snack or a meal. I make mine at home since the advent of air fryers allows you you to do it better and cheaper than all of the fast food places can.

Well, it must not be too bad because the place is packed all the time and cars are lined up. My young teenage daughters and their friends love the place. Seems like a lot of people do. I don’t mind it, but I have to dip it in their sauce. I think it’s good. But I’d rather do Chick-fil-A

Well you’re complaining about chicken strips because you’re an adult and chicken strips are for kids. They are not allowed to be successful.

Not complaining. Expressing my bafflement at the attraction. If a place only sold scotch tape and was successful I would also be confused.

Don’t forget that you would express that no one should go there. Scotch tape is for kids who can’t handle adult tape, like duct tape.

I mean scotch tape. It’s used by kids that don’t have motor skills to use glue or stronger types of tape because they will get their fingers stuck together.

Kwik Star/Trip has better breading, bigger strips, and cheaper. And if you order on the app, they fry them fresh for you. Toss in an order of wedges and you're set.

???

It’s solid but ridiculously overpriced. Kwik Star makes tenders just as good at a third of the cost. Having said that, Canes fries are the worst I have ever had.
"I'm a gas station cuisine enthusiast and my opinion should be taken seriously!"

Cane's is solid. Crinkle fries are a top 5 French fry type.

I must admit. Kwik Star strips are damn good. Canes use to be that size.

“The Chicken” on Orilla Road southwest of the Des Moines airport is really good. A must stop on the bike path.

I like going to 5 Guys because the burgers are good and it’s never busy because all the poors cry about the prices.

When traveling by car fast food is almost a given.

Do some of you losers pack sandwiches and refuse to even stop to take a piss? Some kind of traveling gestapo?
