Why does the University still have a picture of Tony Perkins as the background when clicking on the men's basketball team on the mobile app?

To clarify, click on a game where you would go to get stats. Doesn't matter the game, he's the background for all of them.

Bold choice having a guy currently playing on another team.

I think the failure in the men’s basketball program can be divided three ways:
  • Coaching deficiencies
  • Poor fan support
  • Poor administrative support/oversight
How you want to divide up the blame between those three is up for debate.

But the athletic department has left this program to wither. I really don’t see them taking any serious measures to inject life into this product. Simple things like leaving Tony’s pictures up is a clear example of poor promotion of your product.

While small, it’s an example that the department either is incompetent to run a high-level mens basketball program or they just don’t care

Yeah, this may seem minor in the grand scheme of things, but to me, it just speaks to the failures of whoever is marketing the program. Tony Perkins has been out of the program for 9 months now and you can't be bothered to update this? That attitude could bleed into more important stuff.

Lazy and unprofessional. And on the Hawkeyesports.com website, the 2025 football schedule is NOWHERE to be found. It's available all over the internet, EXCEPT on Iowa's own website. Just ridiculous.
Perhaps still deciding whether to field a team next year?

Pictures don't bother me. Win something and put Brad Davison's picture up there for all I care.
