Ray Hamilton to Skins

Looks like Ray Hamilton is getting a shot with the Redskins after having been signed to their practice squad. I always thought he was a little underrated. Not a gang-buster by any means, but a solid blocker in the run game and decent hands. Hopefully he does well!

Heard Tony Moeaki on a pod cast say that Iowa's tight ends have the 2nd toughest job on Iowa's offense. Next to QB. They have a lot of reads and responsibilities and because of this they are pretty much league ready. This is what the league loves Iowa TE's. I hope Ray makes it. He was a super solid Hawkeye. He's got game for sure.

I thought I was the only Redskins/Hawkeyes fan. I have to be older than lonhawk.
I know for a fact that I was the only Redskins fan growing up in Des Moines.
At least back then I had some bragging rights.

Glad to see another Hawk joining Scherff.
God knows we need TE's. I was hoping they would have scooped up Chandler.
I'm thrilled for Hamilton and hope he can make a roster spot next year.
