At a school whose facilities sucked vs Nebraska's. Fred owns Fran and always will. We'll get better talent at Nebraska than Fred had at Iowa State. If you don't understand that, you haven't been paying attention.

That said, I guess I'm not the only to notice there are more post by braskans today than theres been in many weeks.

Let them enjoy it though, they have every right to be excited! Winning by 6, at home, with 2 of Iowas top 3 shooters out. Also, they only needed almost every player on our team to have a bad night shooting to accomplish such an epic win!! I'm almost surprised they didn't storm the court!

Iowa / Nebraska is hardly a basketball rivalry. Fans here are less upset about losing to Nebraska and more upset about what the loss to your crappy ass team will do to our tournament resume. You’re wasting your time

Yeah I know, you sure appear to be over it. Tommy was forced to play, because we didn't have any other healthy QB. He couldn't even run, because he had a wire contraption taped to his hamstring.

If everything stays as it is, I'm giving Iowa maybe 2 or 3 more wins the rest of the year. Could they win more, I guess but the bottom line is this team has been sucked dry because of all the injuries and is not going to compete for any post season play. You can have all the Hawk confidence in the world and it's not going to change who we are. Fran and his staff is the same now as they were 10 years ago. They care very little about teaching defense and to valve every possessions like some of the great teams do. I have to remind myself it's only a game and life will go on and every year Iowa falter that premise has remained true. .

Life NU fan. Tkt holder . Had a feeling after watching Hawks in Philadelphia we would win, and did. I think you get the guys back from health issues you win B1G Tourney and 2 in March. You keep saying this. I think I’m missing something.... You do understand that this means that Nebraska will almost certainly be worse next year than they are this year, right? Or are you counting on Fred loading up with exclusively phenom transfers in the offseason?

I think Fred was a great move for Nebraska, and I think he’ll definitely improve your program but... dude... you haven’t arrived yet. Lol. It’s going to take a little time.

Actually, Nebraska is 2-1 B1G at home and 0-1 B1G on the road. Rutgers beat them at Nebraska.

Iowa was very strong in the nonconference other than the DePaul surprise. I wouldn't suggest it is time for you to panic because you lost a game at Nebraska. It looks like most teams will struggle on the road this season in the league. Four of your next five (including right now) at home with the road trip to Northwestern. Maybe you take 3 of 4 at home and win at NW and are back to 5-4. It could happen. If you are 3-6 after this stretch, well that would be a problem.
