I'm having surgery and will be laying around recovering for a few days. I usually like nonfiction; sports related, WW2, American History types of books.

Nailed three of my recs in both Millard books and The Boys in the Boat. Reread Boys in the Boat again recently and bawled at the end again.
This has a story that will forever haunt me. My nephew gave me this book and told me to read it if not the whole thing.
Actually, another great wwwii book is studs Terkel’s “the good war”.
