Quite talented; it would have been interesting to see how things turned out if he stayed.

Yeah but too bad he quit on his team mid way through the season. Then when given chance to come back he didn’t want to do what KF asked him in order to rejoin the team. Besides all that not like he lit the world on fire at tech anyways.

Can we look at the numbers (on field production)?
This year--18 receptions for 304 yards
Last year--18 receptions for 288 yards

More than a third of his production this year came against I-AA Eastern Washington (126 yards).
That is in the Texas Tech offense, where 5,000 passing yards is the norm for a season.

Admittedly, part of his senior season at Texas Tech was lost due to suspension.

Physically, he is a freak athlete. But if he couldn't put up numbers in Texas Tech's system (or stay in the good graces of their coaches), why would anyone think that he would have put up numbers in Iowa's system?

So in addition to putting up pedestrian numbers in an air raid offense the last 2 years, he got suspended? I missed that part.

Quitter. check. Suspended. check.

No thanks.

Why do people insist on still bringing this ridiculous take back up? Iowa and Ferentz did the right thing here. You can only give someone so many chances...
