It disgusts me that a man who has been divorced twice and cheated on every wife he ever had was the president of the united states less than a year ago. Elected might I add heavily by Christians.
I find that more immoral than homosexual acts. Divorce and adultery harm other people. One's spouse and one's children specifically. . . the people we should love and care most about in this world. Homosexuality at it's worst can only harm those participating.
And honestly Christians lost pretty much any and all authority to speak to this country with any sort of moral clarity. They for decades ignored and accepted divorce within their own ranks and have now twice elected presidents who have been divorced. The nation stopped listening a long time ago and it's hard to blame them.
The church still does very little to condemn divorce. It often allows people to continue their membership in the church with no sanctions after divorce and re-marriage. Sometimes even doing the re-marrying itself as though nothing had happened. In fact when a few churches do sanction members for divorce, it's members are often shocked that the church won't simply go along with it.

I have yet to see convincing evidence that children raised by two men or two women are greatly harmed by the experience.
While I do think it more ideal that they have a mother and a father, the ideal often does not happen and the other options for adopted children are often more bleak.
But you would a man who himself while married to another woman has unprotected sex with a porn star while is wife had just given birth weeks ago and is at home caring for their child.
I think you should worry less about how disgusting you find people's sexual habits and worry more about whom their sexual habits have harmed.
How can you assume that? Plus a lot more than that goes into raising kids. Will they be able to fill in the gap of the child not have either a male or female role model?
How do we know the normal traditional family will accomplish that. Plenty of supposedly normal couples who turn out to be monsters. People who adopt get vetted more than traditional parents. I try not to paint with large brushes. The same sex couples I know don't walk around the house, neighborhood, etc in gimp outfits with strap ons.
Female or Male remodel could be a close friend, teacher, relative, coach too. Didn't care much for my dad learned more from my first Male teacher than him.

Because if you didn't vote for Trump than fair enough it doesn't apply. If you did however it exposes your hypocrisy on matters of sexual morality. You are ok with a president who cheats on all 3 of his wife and has been divorced twice . . . but upset about a cabinet secretary in a committed homosexual relationship.
It is kind of like Iowa having a 1st and 20. Can they overcome it? Maybe but it will be much harder than 1st and 10.
Not if it's first 1 and 25 and being born a Duggar. Traditional families can screw you up just as easy as non traditional. I prefer to let to well adjusted adults take a crack at it.

Well I certainly find the second bothersome I also find it bothersome when people don't view society as having a responsibility to the born children too.
And I find adultery and divorce far more bothersome than homosexuality.
