Who is more responsible, Mayorkas and his 3 years handling the border or the one vote republicans voted against? You realize the bill R’s turned down had more funding for Ukraine than the southern border and still allows for 5k/per day? We are equipped to handle 3,500 at best. Biden had 3 years to fix the border.. 25 states are sending national guard to secure the border since Mayorkas/Biden literally did NOTHING. NOTHING!
You don't impeach for something like this. That's where the responsibility lies. Even if you think someone is doing a crappy job you don't impeach them. Otherwise anyone can be impeached. Bush could have been impeached for Katrina. Trump for COVID. Biden for inflation. It's an abuse of the procedure.

The border wasn't in any better shape when Trump was POTUS and yet the House GOP didn't impeach any of Trump's 6 DHS Secretaries.
This would have been like the Dems impeaching Reagan in his first term for not being able to restructure the USSR. This is revenge. Pure and simple. Rs don't even hide it.

Dems made it clear from day one they were going to impeach Trump. After Russia collusion fell through, they went after Trump for a sketchy phone call.
The second impeachment was completely legit and Trump should have been convicted.

Yeah the Do Nothing House would just as soon spend their time with meaningless impeachment votes, that are shams to begin with, then actually address the border issue. They were given the chance by the Senate, and instead they followed Lying Donnie Sexual Abuser's marching orders to not do it, so he could have a campaign issue. The American people and the Border be damned. The Do Nothing House strikes again. Shameful.

I will just say the first impeachment was a stretch.
Just because we see eye to eye on somethings, doesn’t mean everthing. The border issue is worse now because of Bidens words and actions. The bill passed wasn’t enough, we need way more restrictions. I’ve mentioned my ideas on vetting immigrants within Mexico. I think you and I could govern better than what’s in DC today
I wouldn't. The idea that a sitting president would try bribing a foreign country with public dollars to smear his opponent is absolutely impeachable.
While still impeachable in my opinion, I'll concede it wasn't as clearcut as 1/6.

Kicking the can down the road…it was truly a Hail Mary by the Dems to take out one of the biggest if not the biggest selling point of a new regime….giving few crumbs…..at least that’s how many people see it. Isn’t it crazy how politics has changed since the 80s and 90s? It has us looking at everything differently….and it’s not in a good way.

As you admitted previously that you don’t read the news- the gop said no defense money without a border bill. Reps in the senate lead the writing of that bill. The best deal the gop will ever get. It passed the senate. Then the gop said no deal because Trump is running on the border and the gip refused to put it up to vote - because they knew it would pass. Now there is a new defense bill without the border. Which the gop will flip on again.
I hope the defense bill passes. The border bill was weak as fcuk. I do read the news, just online, usually Chislinksnor smoking man links, but I watch MSNBC a ton, with the liberal slant even. Always have watched it, prefer their format and opening my mind to their ideas.
