I didn't say it doesn't come with problems. I just think the ever more popular trend of old people propagating the idea that social media is at the core of all or most societal problems is overblown, especially when the finger points at youth. They're as resilient as humans have ever been and will find a way, the adults on the other hand...

Id say social media has wreaked havoc on boomers. The people that would forward you chain emails 20-25 years ago that would say they would have bad luck if they didnt forward an email to 12 people by midnight are the ones that believe litter boxes are being put into bathrooms in rural iowa schools because someone said so on social media.

I am fine with banning porn and social media for kids. And politicians. I find it hypocritical that elected officials can use social media to spread lies and misinformation, so they should be held to a higher standard. Both or none.
