RFK JR is on Rogan today if you want to check out his brand of crazy

Just watched a few clips. If I were leading the Biden campaign I'd organize a debate between DeSantis, Trump, & RFK JR. If people watch those nutjobs speak for 2+ hours Biden would win with 65% of the vote.
Lol, but not let Biden be in said debate huh? You guys are all in on whatever the msm feeds you.
How about this, put all 4 in a debate stage together, you know like debates before national elections are supposed to work. Who do you think comes in last? I'll give you a hint, it would be the senile life long pol who can't put coherent sentences together when not on a prompter.

I'm sure the guy who's spent his life pushing conspiracies based on pseudoscience would shine in a debate.

Funny how scared the big pharma owned media left is of RFK Jr. when nearly all of his policy positions would be right up the mainstream dem party's alley.
Staunch environmentalist with actual lifelong action to back it up. Check.
Anti war and anti military industrial complex. Check.
Pro choice. Check.
Marriage equality supporter before it was politically popular. Check.
And among all current candidates I firmly believe he's the only one with any chance of reuniting the country.
It's a shame so many have been programmed to dismiss him bc of the vax issues.

Most people think being antivax is a big issue when it comes to the public health because it affects everyone . You claim not to support his position on vaccines, but you clearly don’t see it as a big issue.

Why do you care so much that it’s a deal breaker for people? People have found candidates unelectable for far less…. As a republican, u seem more invested in this than you should be honestly.

Yesterday RFK was an outsider, today he is basically a mainstream Democrat only he can unite the country for some reason. Not sure why he can unite the country if the last two mainstream Democrats couldn't. Maybe he just means anti-vaccine folks aren't really ideologically against mainstream Democrat policies, they just want representation of their vaccine skepticism and right now the Alex Jones/alt right wing is their best representation

What things about rfk's stance on vaccines do you disagree with? Give specific examples.

@DeangeloVickers seems to think vaccines are the issue that are holding us apart and if people that believe vaccines are a net positive could just set aside their beliefs, the country would be united… but he’s not an antivaxxer hahaha. Can’t make that shit up.

Here's a start. Note that Osterholm is someone the far right was touting as an expert.

His conduct “undercuts 50 years of public health vaccine practice, and he’s done it in a way I’ve never see anyone else do it,” said Michael T. Osterholm, the director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota. “He is among the most dangerous because of the credibility of who he is and what his family name has brought to this issue.”

Blake Fleetwood, a writer who calls Mr. Kennedy “an inspiration” and has been a friend and skiing companion since 1971, said he could not understand why Mr. Kennedy was “risking his whole life” of activism by “taking on this crusade.”

“Why is he blowing his whole life’s work?” he asked.

Mr. Kennedy, 68, began inveighing against vaccines well before the arrival of the coronavirus, contending that they cause autism — a notion that has been soundly rejected by medical experts. But the tenor of his attacks intensified with the arrival of Covid vaccinations and brought new scrutiny not only to Mr. Kennedy’s positions on vaccines, but to other unorthodox causes he has gravitated to over the years.

Mr. Kennedy now says Sirhan B. Sirhan did not kill Mr. Kennedy’s father and has urged California parole commissioners to free him. He has repeated a popular conspiracy theory that 5G high speed transmission towers are being installed across the nation “to harvest our data and control our behavior.”

His vax stances aren't a deal breaker for me bc 1. His positions have largely been twisted from Vax safety concerns into "anti vaxxer". 2. He's not going to ban vaccines should he become potus but he is going to make absolutely sure they're safe, and not be under the thumb of big pharma.
Of all the deal breakers the current list of candidates bring with them, RFK Jr's are least concerning to me.
I'm not a republican. I've never registered as one, never been to a republican rally, never donated to a single repub candidate and I've voted for dem candidates multiple times in my life.
At this point in time, I simply believe rfk Jr would be the best candidate to lead the country regardless of party affiliation.

I'm not remotely saying this. Vaccines are more than a net positive, they're essential for the human existence. But they haven't all been perfect, haven't all been safe, and haven't always been presented with the transparency they should be. I believe an administration with a very critical set of expectations towards big pharma along with not having been lobbied by them for decades would be a good thing.

Saying vaccines cause autism is not just being critical of big pharma. You are gaslighting everyone for disagreeing with him and then reframing RFKJ’s argument to be something it’s not. Why you got such a hard on for RFKJ anyway? You only post on here to rip on Dems so why the love for him?

I have not seem the evidence to link autism to vaccines. So I agree with the skepticism. Having said that, I am all for more research on the topic.

I also have concerns about the vaccine schedule and the increasing number of recommended vaccines. I agree with further research on this.

Covid and influenza vaccines should not be recommended for all young healthy people. There is current data to support this.

Hasn’t the claim about autism been refuted extensively? How long until we should start believing the science? At this point, it seems like people are just interested in the conspiracy and have no interest in the science.

I'm not an antivaxer, I don't belive vaccines cause autism. But if someone smarter than me can prove it does cause autism, then I want to know that. Medicine is always evolving.

The fact is, autism is on the rise, no one knows why, so at this point, I don't think you can rule anything out.

Rather than blindly trusting what you're fed by the bought and paid for by pfizer media, just listen to his own words in the topic, especially over the past 5 years. Whats the harm in listening to him and thinking for yourself? I don't agree with everything he says but he certainly isn't just some nutjob spewing nonsense. All his kids are fully vaccinated according to his own words in multiple interviews. Do anti vaxxers vax their own kids?

They have ruled out vaccines as a cause for autism and the rise is due to better diagnosis.

"They" also have told us glyphosate is safe to be sprayed on our foods, gmos are fine to use to grow foods, and an ungodly amount of known carcinogens, additives, modified oils and other chemicals are in practically everything they say are fine to ingest. Personally this is where I believe the blame lies with the autism spike vs vaccines but I'm no "expert", so it's just another conspiracy theory. "They" know better.

So you are anti-vax?
That comment struck something dormant. Was it meant in jest or a sober comment? Is that phrase 'anti-vaxer' even still a thing, I haven't thought about it in about a year.

I just can't see how anyone is still anti-vax, now that the more complete picture before everyone is crystal clear.

A lack of wisdom is often a permanent condition, regardless of intelligence or the level of education.

Does Anti-vax persist?

How can it, given any of the vax's can't stop transmission, don't prevent symptoms, don't prevent transmission, were mandated to many as a condition of employment, and thrust upon the absolutely least vulnerable to serious COVID segment of the population, our kids.

My experience is that most of the hysterical vaccine Nazis donning cloth masks and directing their vitriol at others in grocery stores across the country are some of the most impressive individuals our country can produce, and those who simply want to adopt the left's most coveted montra 'my body my choice', are all complete inconsiderate fools.

I find it entertaining albeit so very sad, to continue to see or country's very best thinkers, driving around town in mid-2023 like lemmings, windows up, alone in their cars, wearing their cloth masks. Many saving the world one lithium strip mine at a time in their, Priuses of course.

We're all doomed.

No "they" haven't. "They" are the people who determined those things are harmful.

Yet these things are still in our foods. Are there not scientists at the fda? Or that report these things to our elected representatives? Why would they possibly allow 330 million Americans to be literally poisoned by the foods we eat and the chemicals we use?

So what you are saying is the science is now “they” to you and you will not believe them. Sure sounds like you are an anti-vaxxer and are leaning into conspiracies…

I’m not against RFK Jr and feel that he has some very important view points and a long progressive track record. But the only thing I care about is Benedict Barnum never again be President. I think every loyal American regardless of party should have the same goal. Bobby Jr just doesn’t help right now in that cause.

You've got a weird sort of projection problem with me don't you? Try debating the topic and actual points of my post or better yet just put me on ignore. I don't think you've ever responded with an actual point, always just some sort of personal attack.
And to humor your statement, when "they" are deeply entangled in govt agencies/big pharma/big ag, yeah I tend to be a bit skeptical. But that doesn't make me an anti vaxxer. That's a stupid label you've been programmed to use to shut down any reasonable discussions.

But you have no problem with politicians telling you “they” is the problem. You seem to always find a way to align with right wing talking points… what part do you want to debate? The fact the RFKJ is pushing antivax BS? I already went there. I’ve debated the topic and pointed out how you are a partisan hack and it didn’t take much.

What a completely garbage post. Why would a "partisan hack" be advocating for people to consider supporting a lifelong Democrat? About the only explanation is you're so entrenched in the partisan tribal warfare garbage you can't fathom anything else.

Bobby Jr on the ballot could get trump elected. Otherwise, he’s an interesting and viable candidate regardless of stance on vax.

Not if he's on instead of Biden. And I'm actually not sure he wouldn't win in a 3 way race if given a legit opportunity. 60% of the country is ready but unfortunately the puppet masters won't let it happen.

You are for Democrats as long as they agree with you on the fringe right wing points like antivaxxer BS.

Why is a hardcore Republican like yourself advocating for a guy whose only right wing position is antivax? Yet you still claim to not support that position. It makes zero sense.

They aren't. The amounts are below any toxic levels. That you believe the government is allowing your food to be poisoned is tin foil cap level nuttery.

If you really trust establishment politicians over someone like RFK Jr, congratulations on being successfully brainwashed. He's certainly not right on everything and I don't agree with every position, but at least he's genuine and not scamming you like the majority of entrenched pols.
He does not have that “it” that his dad and uncle possessed. A bit cray cray, which is OK if the right cray cray. His direction is concerning.
I will not vote for, tho I have been a Kennedy fan all of my life.
And it certainly has nothing with hoping big money does or does not support him. Money in politics is the devil at work.

You obviously didn't read my post. I don't think vaccines cause autism. But if someone out there believes it does, then I encourage them to research it. If new research proves that vaccines do cause autism, then I want to know this and my opinion would change.

Like I said before, medicine is always evolving. Things we knew to be true 10 years ago are not always true today. (Vaccines may or may not fall in this category, but more research never hurts imo).
