Richard Pitino Next New Mexico Coach

New Mexico is the cum dumpster of college basketball.

Lived in Albuquerque for 4 years. Not only was it an engrossing series, but it was fun to look for the exterior shots of places that I recognized.
How long ago and did you enjoy it there? I have an opportunity there readily available, but haven't thought too seriously about it. The climate seems great, but I've heard it's a bit of a dump overall (?).

20 years ago. Nice climate. 300 days of sunshine a year. Beautiful scenery and lots of outdoor activities in the mountains. That's about it for the positives.
Dirty, crime, bad schools.
I've been back to visit. But I wouldn't want to live there again.

See post #29...I have always been under the impression that Alford relied heavily upon Neal and his dad...

Holy sh$&...I had no idea posts had #s until you said that. I’m shook.

I read your post and thought ‘what a dick, now I’m supposed to count posts.’ But I’ll be damned, right there in the corner this whole time.

Thank you. Kind of what I've been told a bit too. Have never been there, flew over on the way to Arizona many times. Ha!

Alford's questionable success was all due to Greg Lansing being his assistant coach. Greg was the coach of that team. Alford is horrible. How he rose from failure after failure is a great mystery.
Lansing 's only gig with Alford was at Iowa. Perhaps you mean Craig Neal? Unless you consider Alford at Iowa a success...
