I hope future cast is right! Ricky would be a huge get for us.
I see the DB who just re-committed stated he has been working on him hard to go to Iowa.
247 also has 7 out of 7 predictions for him to come to Iowa. Fingers crossed.
We need this kid. Would be a great get.
Albert Young size, speed and running style.
Pre injury AY....those knee injuries really took a toll on Albert's speed.
Yeah, it doesn't appear he'll be running away from many Division 1 DB's for long touchdowns but looks to be good for keeping his feet moving & dragging tacklers a few extra yards.
At least that's what I see on his film..

That’s a good comp. I see a little bit of Mikail McCall, if anyone remembers his style.
Reminds me a lot of Sargent- get the tough yards kind of guy. Like that he has a really strong inside plant move/burst. Most runners are always looking to cut outside all the time.
Wow, your memories pretty good to remember that guy. The short time hwt champs kid played in the season opener, showed some power and promise, broke his ankle, and ended his Iowa career I believe. Transferred to the Salukis and got suspended after a few games. Pretty short career as a Hawk......

Definitely not one of those highlight tapes where the RB gets to the outside and goes untouched over and over. He might not have elite top end speed, but he has good speed and he's a tough runner who looks pretty hard to bring down.
I predict he comes here. And the old expression “Rick 6” suddenly becomes very positive.
He has really good patience and great burst when he sees the hole. It’s almost like he’s just walking behind his line and then boom he hits the hole... a lot like Mixon and Leveon Bell do. Breakaway speed is impressive... doesn’t look that fast then you realize the dude just glides. Pulls away from defenders every time
TF? AY was tough as nails and ended up playing for the Vikings.
He was about the only bright spot in an otherwise forgettable 2007 season. 34 carries and a W against MSU. Played his guts out.

Given the various predictions out there and that his only other finalist is Utah, I guaran-ass-tee he's a Hawk!
To be fair, I'm pretty certain we won every game he threw one of those. It almost came to the point of us cheering for it to happen so we knew we had the game wrapped up.
And not just squeaking by either. That was one of the more unbelievable games I've been too. Should have been down 21 to winning by 18(?). Trick or treat Iowa City.
We almost left this game at halftime. So glad we stuck around. AY won that game for us.

This crossed my mind as well - Bigger, stronger, and has some burst but not gonna take it to the house from 60+ yards out.
