Beat the two other #1 ranked wrestlers in the state today! Always attacking the legs!
Clear eyes, full hearts
You lost me at reminds me of Kemmerer, not super physical. I would imagine most of Kemdogs opponents would disagree as they limp back to their respective benches.Reminds me of Kemerer. Not super physical but shoots a lot and finishes on a high percentage of his shots. Very patient and constantly improving his position. Will be fun to see him on the next level. Can he hold 157 because 165 and 174 seem to be locked down for the next couple years.
Marinelli is super physical. You lost me at reminds me of Kemmerer, not super physical. I would imagine most of Kemdogs opponents would disagree as they limp back to their respective benches.
What I saw of him this summer makes me think 157 will be hard to hold.Reminds me of Kemerer. Not super physical but shoots a lot and finishes on a high percentage of his shots. Very patient and constantly improving his position. Will be fun to see him on the next level. Can he hold 157 because 165 and 174 seem to be locked down for the next couple years.
Kemmerer displays his physicality by finishing those (at times) head-scratching shots. I would say Kemmerer is a brute (in a good way), but uses angles and leverage well enough that it isn't always obvious. You lost me at reminds me of Kemmerer, not super physical. I would imagine most of Kemdogs opponents would disagree as they limp back to their respective benches.
I thought this was a great comparison, FWIW.You lost me at reminds me of Kemmerer, not super physical. I would imagine most of Kemdogs opponents would disagree as they limp back to their respective benches.
The future Hawks had quite a day yesterday around the State.Joel Jesuroga beats Robert Avila 6-2.
He has been an all star through youth wrestling. Was up at 170 and lost by a good bit to Tate N. Dropped to 160. I thought Riggins controlled the match and handled him pretty well, as would be expected. Magayna seems most at home on the mat and a bit behind these guys in neutral.Looked at some of those duals. Some pretty salty wrestlers there. The championship bracket had decent duals. The Magayna kid must be a pretty tough wrestler. Looks like he gave the Riggins kid a battle. Good for him staying at Columbus, but that has to be hard on him when most of the other guys are so good at counting lights.

Oh boy Spooner, better hope Sans hasn't started drinking today yet!He is only a soph. Did I see a couple more of Sans’ offspring counting some lights at Young Arena this weekend?
i think he mostly means in the hand fight. kem doesn’t club and move people like a guy like marinelli. he and riggins are volume shooters. You lost me at reminds me of Kemmerer, not super physical. I guess I’m mostly looking at how much pressure he puts on guys on top. He’s a big leg Turk guy and having been on the receiving end of that more times than I care to remember, that’s a lot of pressure. Most of the Hawk starters put a pretty decent amount of pressure on their opponents with a few exceptionsi think he mostly means in the hand fight. kem doesn’t club and move people like a guy like marinelli. he and riggins are volume shooters.
Word was Purdue was his second choiceWatching those vids has to make Clone fans sick when they thought Riggins was a sure thing going to ISU.
The majority of the top guys want to be in the B1G.Word was Purdue was his second choice

They play soccer and other sports, quit for years. They hate wrestling. If they stayed with it they were as good as anyone around the country. I can’t believe they even went out. Doing fine in duals, besides the time my kid got his hand caught in another kids singlet. I think that’s his only loss. They wrestle during wrestling season. His first match was a fluke loss and wrestle up in his third. Two pins on the first day. They be fine for what they put into it. Hopefully more next year, but I’m not counting on it. I don’t push.
I want that and the singlet one again.
Wait until my 8th grader gets to high school. Hammer.
Yes they know exactly how many lights are in that arena. They don’t love the sport like my oldest. You wanna play soccer, football or track, you.re not saying shit.
Thanks Spoon for keeping an eye out.
Edit: Bad officiating caused my second oldest to hate the sport. He was killing a kid from Belmond and the dude kept giving points to the other/wrong kid at a big tournament, this was when he never lost. Scoring table tried to correct him repeatedly and he lost his shit. My kid didn’t like the drama and quit for years. My oldest jumped up a weight and piss pounded his brother for revenge and didn’t do it nicely. He never wrestled nice.
We’re not done yet youngest could go to Bosco, I’d rather he go to Waverly. I’m out, with all my excuses
