RIP in Peace. This past year has been devastating for that generation of comedy.
Bad last 12 months for comedians
f***.
I wasn't a huge fan of his persona until I listened to a bunch of episodes of his podcast last year at the recommendation of a friend. He was quite likable and funny in that setting. He seemed like a good soul. That sucks. He seemed like he was as nice of a guy as he was annoying.

That lady in the lime-green blouse needs to watch herself.
Greg Giraldo dead 2.
Cancelled over some Japanese tsunami tweetsI'm not trying to sour the thread. I just remember him getting fired from Afflack. Does anyone remember why?
I remember watching him in the early 90s. He was always pretty funny if a bit annoying.
Oh wow. That is amazing...and so sad.
Oh yeah. One of the funniest things I can remember on Howard Stern, other than the roasts, was when Gilbert and Artie went back and forth for about a half hour doing jokes in Ted Kennedy's voice
For now. I think his nose is completely gone from snorting cocaine.Oh yeah.
Artie Lange is STILL ALIVE.
Amy Shumer will live forever following this trend. And yet Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia are allowed to go on living. Life is truly unfair.
He definetly toed the line more than most. I heard a recording of him the other day when he left a voicemail to the Stern show, was weird to hear him talking like a normal guy. Supposedly he got real pissed when it was leaked.Cancelled over some Japanese tsunami tweets
It’s wild that corporations were willing to hire him after his Stern appearances and his regular telling of the Aristocrats, but the Tsunami joke is what did him in.He definetly toed the line more than most. I beleive he had a few Sept 11 jokes that ticked people off as well. It’s wild that corporations were willing to hire him after his Stern appearances and his regular telling of the Aristocrats, but the Tsunami joke is what did him in.
