For the life of me I can not believe I live in a world where ANYONE in the U.S. is actually siding with anything Russia is doing. WTF has happened to us as a country? I am 54, and am in complete disbelief that this is where we are as a country. SMH.

I get that it looks like this, but the reality is that thoughtless folks like the OP sold their souls and minds to Trump long ago. He's their guy, their identity, might as well be a religion.

They don't give a shit about Russia, they're ignorant of Russia. They don't give a shit about peace. If Trump decided to put American troops in and for Ukraine (or for Russia) they'd cheer it. If Trump decided to use nuclear weapons, they'd praise his show of strength. You know, fire and fury the world has never seen!

They don't really have any agency in the matter. Once this is realized, MAGAs like the OP end up being fairly sympathetic.
