Before I scrolled down to this one I was thinking to myself "wouldn't it be awesome if one of these videos was done with Ole JR in the background with some WWF play-by-play". The internet does not disappoint.

The white men had a boat and didn’t want to move it to allow the riverboat to dock. So they proceeded to assault one of the Black workers. Thats what started the brawl
OK, the story has now gone big time. I heard an NPR report on it this morning. They even mentioned the woman getting whacked by the chair and the person going in the water.
To be fair, when he asked the question, there were just one or two videos that really didn’t provide a lot of context. Now, we’re all just laughing at the memes and parodies of those holier than thou aholes getting their ass beat. Or at least I am.

One thing’s for sure… Judging by social media, this brawl is showing just how many white AND black racists there are in this country. Every negative incident involving any mix of races is now automatically labeled as racially motivated, racism, etc, even when it’s not.
Mainstream media will stick to the narrative though, and racism will never go away.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that there was NOT a racial component in this brawl? 😂
I don’t think the reason the incident started was racially motivated, but as it went on it’s clear that it became an “us vs. them” situation.
I’ll also say I think the pontoon boat people were at fault and deserved what they got, but I don’t like that this has become a racially charged story that is continuing the divide… to the delight of the higher ups.
The 2 white guys took plea deals to lesser charges. Chair guy had his charges dismissed.

Where'd you read that about the chair guy getting his charges dismissed?
The article says this:
"Reggie Ray, the suspect alleged to be hitting someone with a folding chair, will learn his fate when he makes his appearance in court on Monday, December 11."
It says he will learn his fate in court on December 11 unless I'm missing something?
