I admit they look cool and I’m intrigued by an all electric vehicle but check the consumer reports. I don’t think the trucks have a stellar reliability record

I am not exactly an early adopter, so I appreciate this kind of information to see how it all shakes out before I would go down this road.

Rivian is awesome. Their SUV is outstanding (I haven't seen the consumer reports thing). That said, they are far too expensive for most people. I just can't spend $90k on an SUV. If they can't get a vehicle out there in the $40-$50k range I'm not sure what kind of long term presence they are going to be able to have. That said, there are a lot of people who are pissed off at Elon turning in their Tesla's and buying Rivians so they may have been gifted a new market base.

Last I saw they were the least reliable automaker there is according to CR.

Considering there's a Stellantis out there, that's saying something to actually be worse than them.
