Angelo was smaller than most 84s he wrestled. I don’t know that he wants to cut a lot of weight. But yea, the Ferraris put in serious work in the weight room.
If we were to get a guy like Mirasola with 4 years left, the smart play would be to keep him. He’s damn good.
I'm good with that also. Just seems like a great move since he's on the bench this year as far as I've seen.
Agree. I put him at a healthy 178 right now. The way his frame naturally grows I bet in 6-7 months he will be all of 184. A.J.'s frame seems to still be wanting to grow. He is a big 197 right now. A dude that would probably be at his athletic peak at 205-210. I could see Angelo by Fall of 2026 be in the 190's and a cut being too unhealthy.
He’s an AWA guy so I doubt he comes here. Also I don’t think it’s a great fit assuming he wants to wrestle with his brother.

Yeah but other than being an AWA guy, not being in the portal, being the same weight as one of the big time incoming freshman recruits, and likely wanting to wrestle with his twin brother he would be a PERFECT fit.

I promise you with all my heart that is was much more compliment than any kind of insult. It was a play on the “like a dog on a bone” saying complimenting your tenacity. Once you go after something, much like The Terminator, you will keep coming and will not stop until the target is dead and gone and I added in eating the remains for a more dramatic effect.
Oh, and I was smiling and laughing when I said it and whole heartedly laughed with how over the top your response was!
Amen! I don't like reading about ideas with playing with Caliendo's and Angelo's weights. They are absolute studs who will likely make it to the finals and perhaps win it all. I wouldn't risk that...I would want them at their best weight for them. Just my opinion.
