Can someone tell Jess Settles that Rucker Park, the most famous playground basketball court in the world and home of Iowa freshman team basketball legend Connie Hawkins, is in Harlem on Manhattan island? Not in the Bronx.

This is at least the second game he’s talked about Rucker Park in the Bronx.

He didn’t say Rucker Park was in the Bronx, he said Joe played at Rucker Park, which he did. Joe is from the Bronx, yes, but traveled to Manhattan to play basketball at least a few times.

Yup. Made this account just to comment but might stick around because I'm a lifelong Hawkeye fan.

As y'all know, Rucker is the Mecca of streetball. Anyone who is worth their salt in NYC is gonna try and play at Rucker. Plus hoops heads flock there when pros are in town. KD at Rucker is priceless, as I'm sure some of you know. I'm assuming OP knows since he dropped a Connie Hawkins reference.

There's a great NYC streetball movie on Netflix called "doin it in the park," which sounds like a porno but I promise it's not. Worth a watch if it's still on streaming.
