Don’t get me wrong it’s actually my favorite us city. But not particularly pretty.

Are you kidding? Chicago's coastline with all of its public green space and beaches is incredible. Granted, winter sucks, but later spring and summer it is wonderful. One of the prettiest views in the midwest is soldier field looking out onto the lake.

I spent 6 months working in Moscow in the Yeltsin era and have been back a few times on business since (Although not since 2010).
I can confirm what others have said…Moscow is very nice, the metro stations are stunning (although the Soviets tore down a bunch of churches to make them that way). But it has an undeniable Hunger Games aesthetic. All the money goes to two cities, leaving the rest as truly second/third world.

Right? We welcome people from all over the country, coast to coast for a weekend Chicago trip in July. It ends with the architectural boat tour through the river and out onto the lake where they have a huge fireworks display every Saturday night. The guests are in awe of all aspects. I'm willing to bet that most of these people have spent little or no time experiencing the best of what the city has to offer.

My family emigrated (legally) to the US. As much as I shit post on here, the US is the best country in the world, period. It isn't close. When my flight enters the US, and I've been to paradise places like the Maldives and lived in places like Dubai etc, I smile because I know I'm in God's country. There ain't any better. People like Tucker Carlson and his followers are garbage people. Revoke them of their citizenship and send them to wherever the f they want.
