On the commute this morning, I saw this stenciled across the back of a pickup truck. Googled it when I got to work. I was amused.
 
Um yeah. Was the truck driving slow so it could be passed easily?
 
Apparently that could mean very different things, depending on which Spanish-speaking country you originate.
 
I saw a semi on I-80 a few weeks ago that had something like, "Never Forget", in big letters on the trailer. As I pulled closer it said, "Never Forget The Sikh Massacre of 1984".

When i first moved to arlington, there was a great little neighborhood italian restaurant run by bolivians. it was right next to a seedy strip bar. Being just off of the apple cart, my buddy told me to ask the waiter "donde esta las putas ninas", which of course I did, and he replied "right next door".
