Saltburn

It was quite the trip. The only thing I would have changed was not revealing how calculated things were, as it made the events feel a little too convenient.

But I did like it.

good Amazon original movie

3.5 stars
Watched it last night. Barry Keoghan is good in everything. This movie was..... something. I think 3.5 stars out of 5 is a perfect number. In large part because a ton of the reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star. Anyway, there were a couple scenes that caused me discomfort.

My wife hated the bathtub water scene but I've seen much worse.

I haven't watched it partly because I am not emotionally ready to see Rosamund Pike as a middle aged mom. Plus the bathtub thing.

I enjoyed Saltburn quite a bit. I went in not knowing anything about it other than it having Barry Keoghan and Rosamund Pike, which was enough to sell me on it.

The cinematography and visuals were fantastic. Barry Keoghan could go from a creepy little gremlin to the best looking person in the room in a split second.

How does it compare in grossness on a scale from Tusk to Human Centipede?
Tusk was weak. It was gross, but it wasn't that bad. Saltburn is pretty mild compared to the weird shit out there.

I've never seen Human Centipede, but I do think about it a lot.

I think I just thought too much into how he was trapped in the body of a walrus at the end and destined to live alone eating delicious fish.

Spoiler alert

Ya but what else did Justin Long have going on? Living as a walrus was a glow up.
