The better team won. We will never be champion material until we value defense.

I was told if we ignore expectations and just enjoy this once in a generation type team it would be fun though.
Iowa fans who thought this team was once in a generation should blame themselves. Its a real good team but been way overrated all year. But many of our message board morons who claimed this team was more talented and better than the 80s teams - well i guess athleticism and defense counts for something huh?!

Exactly. Roy Marble had BJ, Horton, Gamble, Lohaus, etc. Garza has nothing close to that.
How dare Iowa fans have expectations. It's not like Iowa has the National Player of Year on their team or something. This is the same type of post that I remember when people where actually defending Lick on this board. Absolutely no criticism of Iowa coaching is allowed on this board.
