He has like an 11 era and almost 3 WHIP. He has been completely uneffective this year. I am wondering if they shut him down?

I knew he had a rough start but he really must have lost some mojo to not get any garbage work in during the midweek games.

Him and to a lesser extent Shane Ritter have really struggled this year. They just can't get outs and have been giving up way too many free bases.

Yes both Ritter and Shimp have struggled to throw strikes. Can't walk over a batter per inning and be successful. Schanuel's stuff is very good, just too many walks. Walked 41 in 49 innings.
