Scott Frost

Yeah...Minny and Nebby have coaches that aren't going anywhere. USC is too big of a job for Frost. He could potentially get the Mizzou or Illinois job.

Why would Frost be on anyones list? He's the coordinator for a 3 loss team in aconference that's down this yr. there are far more proven coordinators out there.
Don't get the love for this guy.

Wait, so one 3 loss season after a string of being a top-five team for years and years makes an entire coaching staff crap all of a sudden? LOL The shortsightedness and ignorance of some posters is laughable. Under the same mindset, Brian Ferentz must be a world beater because we are having a good year. Let's forget the last three years we had the worst rushing attack in the Big Ten despite having some studs on the offense of line under Brian's tutelage.

Spot on Iowalaw. Frost will be a hot commodity whether he chooses to take a head coaching job this year or next.

How awesome would that be to see Scott Frost cosch Mizzou of all places.

I'm predicting Mizzou hires Dave Christiansen. He was OC up there for years and installed that spread system they run now. He's coaching OL somewhere. OU maybe? Not sure.

Maryland. If.................Bill O'Brien does not take it. But his style matches the system Maryland's AD says he is seeking.

Frost was the coach that dragged LaGarret Blunt off the field when he decked the Bosie State player. Gotta give him a little respect for that.

I hope he gets a mid level BCS job, balls out, and then Nebraska will hire. Hopefully later rather then sooner.

Scott Frost was ultimately Lawrence Phillips' undoing at Nebraska. He started seeing Phillips' ex and it wasn't until LP beat up SF that Tom Osborne finally did what he should have done long before that and kick Phillips off the team. Frost's parents are great people and coached Shenandoah in football for a number of years and his Mom (Carol maybe) is still competing in track (over 70 maybe).

Sounds about right for Tom Osbourne. Beat up a girl and drag her down the stairs-- suspended until the big game. Beat up my starting QB, off the team.

Frost was redshirting that year. Phillips was suspended for dragging the girl down the stairs. Frost was hiding in her closet while this happened.

Yeah, it's real hard when you have the best player in the country at quarterback. I suppose Frost was responsible for MM talent. What's he done to be considered for a P5 job besides have a great player?

Yes. Rumor has it they have spoken. Plus Houston is not doing well.

I've heard this as well.

What do y'all think about the Rutgers situation? If Flood is out (I don't know if he is, just riding the rumor train) who do you think would be a good fit up there? Would they go for Tom Herman?

Herman can do better than Rutgers. Could probably land at Mizzou or South Carolina.

I thought the same thing at first. But if he wanted to come back to the B1G, it may not be a bad place. Not a bad recruiting area, nice college town (spent some time there for work), and already an Elite 11 QB committed for next year.
