Netflix series, absolutely outstanding IMHO, although I can see how others might not share my view. Updated to modern times, some liberties taken with the characters, really entertaining. Has elements that remind me of "The Avengers" -- the one with Steed and Mrs. Peel, not the super heroes.

Yep. Originally they were both busy and skipped making a season with the intention of coming back. I don't know if that is still the case or not.

The last season was ok. Little better focused more on Sherlock's family.
