Should a statue of Fran be outside or inside the arena?

My wife, Margaret, thinks it should be outside, so you can all punch me in the nuts on your way into the arena.

The statue, of course, would be to honor the winningest coach in Iowa men's basketball history!
Statue should have Fran wearing a swastika on his shirt and a KKK hat on so it’s very offensive.

The statue should also be left unguarded with easy access it to it 24/7.

One statue for being the winningest coach and one for having the most loses as an Iowa coach. Longevity shouldn't count. Fran hasn't done anything in 15 years except make it to A championship game of the NIT, and win ONE Big Ten tournament. Other then that, he made lot's of money for doing absolutely nothing......

The Nile Kinnick statue outside our football stadium is noteworthy.
Nile is portrayed as a scholar holding two books in his right hand.
He was more than a Heisman trophy winner. Nile was an intelligent
young man who was respected by all.

Bottom Line: Coach Fran is NOT statue worthy on so many levels.

At this rate, other Big Ten teams will build a statue to honor how easy it is to play against him

I’d say you put one outside and one inside. There would be absolutely no way to “defend” that position. Typical for Iowa basketball anyways!
