Really looking forward to it.

Both teams employ a lot of similar philosophies. I think it is as simple as whomever has the better 3 pt fg% wins.

Well, according to Lunardi, we lost to Nebraska in the conference tournament. So, we are doomed. He's the expert..

Villanova has nobody to guard Uthoff. They are a very small team with all forwards 6'6" and smaller. I know where aren't going to see it but I would love to see Uthoff get the ball on the block (not 10 feet out where he does his fade-a-way shot).....i'm talking 3-4 ft from the basket on the block and power the ball up and get fouled.

Nova teams traditionally know how to win...going into this one with zero expectations and heart on sleeve, Go Hawks!

All I know is I'd like to see Iowa come out with its hair on fire and play every second like it was the last second of basketball they would ever play. That, and shoot the lights out, of course. But let's see the Hawkeyes play the way they talk. History doesn't write itself. Let's hope the Hawkeyes do the writing today. There is no good reason Iowa cannot win this game. Play like your life depends on it. Do that, and the result should be one the Hawkeyes, and those of us who cheer them on, should enjoy.

It's time for IOWA to finally step up under the bright lights on the big stage.

Villanova has not played a team who likes to push the tempo like Iowa does so if they do not get back on D Iowa will have easy buckets.

Go Hawks!!!!
