Did you look at the test? It isn’t very hard and I wasn’t totally serious with my answer…So, this wouldn't surprise you, but you want us voters to be able to pass the test. Bins, you disappoint again.
D's from what I've seen.Which party membership do you think is most highly correlated with education level.
Saw that. Deleted my postD's from what I've seen.
Why would it be racist to say our political "leaders" could not pass the test? Chances Trump would pass?Disparate outcome, so you’ll be labeled a racist for this proposal.
Why do you ask a leading question that has nothing to do with my statement? Why would it be racist to say our political "leaders" could not pass the test? Chances Trump would pass?

Being brainwashed is not being educated. No, and it's an awful idea. However if the idea did somehow come to pass, it would likely lead to D sweeps everywhere based upon the educated vs uneducated breakdown in support of the parties. Maybe then we could finally get some actual democratic reforms passed, such as constitutional amendments to end gerrymandering and allow for open primaries and end federal judge lifetime appointments. You know stuff to fix the structural problems within our society which have allowed MAGA to breathe and grow as a minority movement.
Depends on who writes the test.Does the proposed test target certain groups?
USCIS approved the test FWIWDepends on who writes the test.
I would bet though that recent immigrants would score the highest.
The thing that makes the test more difficult is the fact that it's not multiple choice.USCIS approved the test FWIW
From what we've been hearing (frau will be taking the test) is that it's been other naturalized citizens experience that its 7 or 8 easy and a couple hard questions being asked. The thing that makes the test more difficult is the fact that it's not multiple choice.
This practice test is similar to what an immigrant taking the test would have to pass. It gives you 10 random questions from the 100 on the test you linked. Some of the questions are really easy while others are more difficult to come up with the answers off the top of your head.

Do our leaders not have a race? Why do you ask a leading question that has nothing to do with my statement?
I think a majority of people would fail, Trump included. Civic ignorance is rife.
I think some demographics would fail in even larger numbers, and people would point to that to say the test was racist.
I’ve seen some of those literacy tests. They were undoubtedly rigged, as the questions were ambiguous (i.e. how many letters are in this sentence) and usually left to the discretion of the proctor.Well there is an issue that this country has a problem of having used tests in the past to prevent certain groups of people from voting.
Well?
I think a good portion of our citizens would fail the test.
Test below...
And a lot of uneducated (book wise) people that are a genius at their craft. How about some sort of common sense test?
I’ve seen a lot of book smart people that I question if they know head from butt.
I think voter ID laws where a student ID is not accepted, but a concealed carry card is accepted is suppression. You think voter ID laws are voter suppression so I wouldn’t expect you to think otherwise.
NRA Membership cards are accepted? I am aware that some state allow handgun carry permits with photo, but never NRA Cards....I think voter ID laws where a student ID is not accepted, but an NRA membership card is accepted is suppression.
Yes, correct. Edited for accuracy. A student ID is based upon similar information and generally includes a picture, yet for some reason they aren't considered as reliable...NRA Membership cards are accepted? I am aware that some state allow handgun carry permits with photo, but never NRA Cards....
