The highest ranked defenses they played all season were #17 Akron (???) and #46 Tennessee. Oklahoma had the best defense in the Big XII. The next best was #60 West Virginia at 394 ypg. Get back to me when they play a defense with a pulse.

Nope, Oklahoma earned it. While they had a much worse loss...they had some dominating wins down the stretnch. If we played them on a neutral site, they'd be a 10pt favorite. As much as I'd like to argue it, i'd say MSU, OK, Bama, Clemson is the right final four. Our schedule was weak, and we had only one blowout against a power 5 team.

Big 12 was down this year and is one dimensional (no defense), but Oklahoma deserves to be there.

You must be thinking of the Big 12 they count conference wins to determine their champ. The Pac 12 plays a CCG just like the Big 10. Years from now Stanford will still known as the 2015 conference champ. I hope the Hawk end up in the Rose and we can find out who's better : )
