Should Politicians Profit from the Wars they Support?

Some examples of how they profit:

Campaign contributions
Indirect election support (attack ads against opponents for example)
Stock appreciation
Jobs after their elected office ends

It’s okay if they support the wars unrelated to their profiting from them.

It’s possible to profit from doing the right thing.

For example, I’m okay if FDR made a boatload from sending us into WW2, after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
