You posted in the past few weeks that Fran would take some heat if he missed on Foster?
How hot will it get if the 2020 class is Ulis, Perkins, Murray and Murray?

This is what I have been told by a fabulous source.Sibley isnt on the recruiting board so its safe to say he isnt a target anymore.
This is ridiculous.

I think if they don't get Foster he starts to get criticism if they struggle this year and people start looking at who is in the future classes.
Personally, I am not sold on Foster being all that great at the Big Ten level, but there is obviously time for him to develop more before he will be counted on.
I do not believe we will take Sibley now. Fran feels that the Murray boys are better.
we have at least 3 rides left if we want.
I don't see it .
Georgetown fan here. One of our insiders has a source close to Sibley’s camp, or so he says, and says that Gtown is comfortably in the lead. Has Iowa dropped out of his recruitment or are you all still in play? If you are out then I assume he’s a lock to us unless something changes in the coming weeks. Good luck to the Hawkeyes this year
I would more likely believe Sibley told Iowa he was looking more seriously looking elsewhere so Iowa shifted directions.I suspect Sibley was told his scholly was gone with the Murray twins commiting. I think Foster and/or OG are probably still a possibility for the Hawks.
Whats ridiculous?Sibley isnt on the recruiting board so its safe to say he isnt a target anymore.

Then you're not looking very hard - any combination of Till relinquishing his ride or grad transfers, JBo plays this year, Pemsl grad transfers, one or both of the McCaffery's relinquish their scholarships, Joe W moves on after this year.
Very clear really.
According to Kenyon Murray it's not.Iowa has their recruiting class right now. Uhlis, Perkins, Murray and Murray. If I were a betting man I would put a large amount of money on it.
foster is not going to Iowa and if nothing changes he will be going to Iowa State. Not trying to
Piss anyone off but just stating what is now commonly known

On this I do.You need to get on the horn with Jerry Meyer and the 5 other guys at 247 who think he’s going to Iowa (ZERO CBs for Iowa State or any other program). You obviously have better connections to inside info than those guys. Heck, they might even offer you a job.
I saw that comment from him also,... gave me some hope...
But of course you do, dear. Of course you do.
What if Sibley still wants to play for Iowa?
Could be Ogundele instead of Foster. He is the force we need inside, with a lot of upside.
Why would Kris and Keegan be sitting 2 years? They are at DME Sports Academy with BBall in front of them this season. They're already essentially going through a red shirt year in Daytona,... I'm sure these guys don't want to spend two years without seeing the floor...

That ship has passed. I still question academics here. The young man oozes potential and had a lot of early offers but seems like many backed off. May be off base but I've seen this often. What if Sibley still wants to play for Iowa?
Not the kind of basketball they would experience in a division 1 environment like the Big 10....
You have a 50% chance on your guess. If you're right then you'll be back bragging about it and if you're wrong then we won't hear from you again.foster is not going to Iowa and if nothing changes he will be going to Iowa State. Not trying to

I haven't read anything on him lately, but if he ends up at a prep school, or juco.........That ship has passed. I still question academics here. The young man oozes potential and had a lot of early offers but seems like many backed off. May be off base but I've seen this often.
Really wanted him at Iowa but not going to happen.
Do you even know what DME Sports Academy is?
They aren't giving up any college eligibility. They'll be freshmen when they set foot on campus next summer, but will also have a year of skill and physical development under their belts. I really don't get why people are bashing these kids. I feel they'll contribute like Baer if not more during their careers. They're not stiffs, just grew into their bodies late.
I know what DME is, and I'm not bashing these kids in any fashion whatsoever,... I also understand that a year at DME doesn't cost any college eligibility. But from the player's standpoint enrollment at DME is an awful lot like a red shirt year in that it's all about spending a season in development,.. I'm hopeful that the Murray boys will have great success at Iowa.
Well, a Sibley commitment would certainly make things interesting. It does seem like he’s still interested from this and arguably gives the most praise to Iowa over MN and GT. His commitment timeline (November 23-25) would be after Foster and Ogundele decisions..https://www.zagsblog.com/2019/10/28/oak-hill-big-man-jamari-sibley-closing-in-on-decision/
Posted in the lounge by another poster tonight....seems like Sibley is still very much in play?
Could his offer be contingent on Foster's decision? Spitballing...no opinion. The fact that his decision date is after the first signing period passes tells me he wants to keep his options open no matter who he chooses.
Hopefully Iowa would take Sibley over Foster... or bothCould his offer be contingent on Foster's decision? Spitballing...no opinion.
