One of the biggest things I've been impressed with CJ so far is his situational awareness.....the biggest example is going down with 2 seconds left to set up the winning field goal. Honestly, when he took off I thought...he doesn't have time for that but CJ knew exactly how much time he had and made a great decision.
Other examples are escaping the sack by stretching the ball over the goal line to escape the safety against ISU and knowing when to run, when to throw it away.
Just seems like he has a real handle on what's needed on a given play.
